Dr Cabrera was wonderful. He was very accommodating since he made time for me when I did not even have an appointment. I had lower and upper blepharoplasty In New York and was unable to see my Surgeon there. Dr Cabrera is a friend of his and was willing to see me. He reassured me that the cyst I had below my lower lid where the stitches were was already going away and to leave it alone.
I would highly recommend him to anybody thinking of having any plastic surgery. He is very compassionate and sincere.

A great Surgeon very personable. However I could not get my questions about anesthesia used and what kind etc because he was on vacation the week before and his staff kept telling me that he will explain it all the day he comes back which was the day of the surgery.
At that time When he told me it would be local anesthesia with numerous shots (100) in my face due to Melanoma I was upset because I wanted something more like twilight. He said I would have to get an EKG and referral from my Cardiologist due to my heart history.And he couldn’t do the surgery for a few weeks! My Dermatologist who did the biopsy & referred me to the surgeon for urgent surgery!
So I went through the most painful procedure I have ever had!!! The shots were so many & excruciating !!!!! Plus 2 yrs later I still have a noticible scar coming down from the right corner of my rt. Eye very difficult to cover!
The rest of surgery is perfect & unseen!
So I was happy about that part.

I wish I had the proper words to indicate how delighted I am to have been referred to Dr. Cabrera. He and his entire staff were warm, welcoming, and I am truly impressed. He took the time to explain not only the surgery, but went into detail regarding my diagnosis. Although I had to wait a short time, his staff were almost overly apologetic, and most doctors keep you waiting for much longer periods without so much as a word of apology. My impression is that I would highly recommend Dr. Cabrera.
